Today we are presenting our collaboration with a long-standing customer, ZF Friedrichshafen AG. In an interview, Annette Trautmann and Ralph Rettig from Travel Management describe how they see DER BUSINESS Solutions and what exactly characterises our collaboration.
Please introduce yourself: Who are you, what do you do, which company are you with?
We are Ralph Rettig and Annette Trautmann, responsible for Global Travel Management and the worldwide hotel programme at one of the largest automotive suppliers, ZF Friedrichshafen AG.
How did you hear about our company and what made you decide to work with us?
We have been working with DER BUSINESS Solutions for over 20 years and can hardly remember how it all began. The cooperation was triggered by the offer of a structured process for hotel purchasing, which we still use today.
What advantages do you see in working with DER BUSINESS Solutions?
A highly professional team that caters to individual customer requirements. Our experience with DER BUSINESS Solutions: „Can't be done - (almost) can't be done!“. So far, we have always found a solution to every challenge.
Which project(s) have you realised together with DER BUSINESS Solutions? Which DER BUSINESS Solutions product do you use?
ZF uses almost all products from DER BUSINESS Solutions. We have been working together in the area of hotel purchasing via Ratefinding from the very beginning, but also in the area of meeting services for booking conferences, hotel purchasing for trade fairs and the latest project was the implementation of DERHOTEL in the area of hotel bookings two years ago.
Can you give us an example of a particularly successful project that we were able to organise for your company?
With the support of DER Business Solutions, we designed an end-to-end solution for meetings and events for the first time and introduced a digitalised process at ZF. For this, we were honoured with the notable internal ZF Excellence Award.
Which specific services or tools from us do you find most useful and why?
Ratefinding has optimised and supported our hotel negotiation process right from the start. Today, we have achieved a level of efficiency and speed in the annual tendering process that would not be possible without the tool.
Have you received feedback from your employees about our services? If so, what is it?
The employees of the DER Meeting and Event team receive very positive feedback for their friendliness and expertise. The service and support from Germany is particularly well received by our employees.
What aspects of our support do you value most?
The expertise, commitment, professionalism and - last but not least - the opportunity to discuss issues personally with long-standing employees of DER Business Solutions.
Would you recommend us to others and if so, why?
Definitely, because we really appreciate working with a service partner who is flexible and responds to our wishes.
