DERPART reporting system DORS in use for a year now

The innovative reporting tool DORS (DERPART Operating Reporting System) has already been in use in travel agencies for over a year. While it was introduced in the business travel segment in summer 2024 and is primarily used to analyse flight sales, the system has now also been providing up-to-the-minute insights into sales figures in the tourism segment since this June. Users are more than satisfied with DORS.

Sönke Bergmann, DERPART travel agency Stade
„We've been waiting for this tool. The best thing about it is that we can use it to manage our sales in a very targeted way,“ says Sönke Bergmann, Managing Director of DERPART Reisebüro Stade. Since he started working with DORS this summer, it has been part of his daily morning reading. „The first thing I do is look at the programme and I immediately know where I stand.“ The tool is clear and easy to use. It saves him a lot of time and money, as he can make adjustments thanks to the up-to-date, data-based insights from the previous day. The system is particularly important for the annual financial statements. „I can see exactly where something is missing and can make adjustments.“ Whereas he used to check the previous month's statistics for each individual event organiser, he can now find all the data in one program, updated on a daily basis, and can react immediately and optimise his sales. „I can make targeted adjustments, especially eight to ten weeks before the end of the tourism year. The next sales scales and additional earnings are displayed precisely and I, as an entrepreneur, can make my own decisions based on the best possible data.“

Benedikt Weimann, DER BUSINESS Travel NettReisen Munich

Benedikt Weimann from DER BUSINESS Travel NettReisen in Munich is also convinced by DORS. „This is unique in the industry. We were already involved in the test phase and were among the first to use the programme. And today we wouldn't want to be without it,“ says Benedikt Weimann. The Weimann family runs a total of six travel agencies with around 60 employees and uses DORS in both the tourism and business travel segments. „In business travel, it is very important to be able to actively manage and negotiate as a community with service providers such as airlines or car hire providers,“ he explains. It makes work considerably easier, saves a lot of time and helps to achieve goals. This is because it provides an up-to-date insight into the current situation and helps to find answers to questions such as: „Where do we stand? What do we still want to achieve?“. For him, taking a daily look at the system is now part of his routine. As is the monthly dialogue with employees. He is able to involve the team in the best possible way based on the insights gained. „For me, DORS is clearly the future. Our industry is so fast-moving that we have to act quickly. And this tool makes it possible for us entrepreneurs to optimise our own goals, both financial and strategic, in the best possible way,“ says Benedikt Weimann.

„With DORS, we have created a tool that gives our DERPARTners real entrepreneurial sovereignty. Decisions are no longer based on gut feeling, but on clarity, speed and facts. This is exactly how we envisage modern travel sales management. DORS shows what is possible when technology and entrepreneurial thinking come together,“ adds Andreas Weber, Managing Director of DERPART, in conclusion.
