DERPART welcomes new partner: Smart and Top Travel travel agencies join the franchise network

On 1 January 2026, the Smart and Top Travel travel agencies in Stuttgart, Herrenberg and Greven will become part of the DERPART network. They will transfer both their business travel and tourism divisions to the Frankfurt travel agency sales organisation and will then operate under the name Top Travel.

Managing Directors Jan Tropp and Jens Weyland will continue to manage the travel agencies. Both started in 2012 with business travel agencies in Stuttgart and Herrenberg in southern Germany and in Greven in Westphalia as franchisees of Uniglobe. In 2023, the Smart Travel and Top Travel travel agencies merged. Both units were also organised in the AER for the German market. "However, our core business is clearly business travel, which accounts for around 90 per cent. Our focus is on international, medium-sized companies," emphasises Jan Tropp.

This was also one of the reasons for the switch to DERPART, as the strength of the Frankfurt-based company also lies in the SME sector. "We wanted to have more support in Germany. Uniglobe is very international," say the two Managing Directors. They were also impressed by the online booking tools, the technical expertise and the support in both marketing and sales from DER Business Travel and DERPART.

The managing directors also appreciate DERPART's cooperative attitude, which allows them to have a say and work together as partners. Jens Weyland says: "The chemistry was right from the start. We showed a lot of sympathy and trust in each other."

With a total of 23 employees, 19 of whom work in the business area and 4 in the leisure area, service orientation is at the heart of the corporate culture. "Our DNA is service, service, service," says Weyland, which is reflected in a healthy customer structure with many long-standing regular customers. In the future, the two want to continue to grow in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with DERPART's strong network behind them.
