All-In-One: DERPART with new full-content system for flight bookings

DERPART is entering the year 2025 with a new, unique full-content system for flight bookings: DERPART Air+ is the name of the tool which, following an intensive test phase, is now available to DERPART and DER BUSINESS Travel travel agencies and offers real added value. Not only does it contain all relevant booking content, it is also compatible with German data protection regulations.

"With this future-proof solution, we are pleased to be able to offer our employees a system that is easy to use and has a very fast response time despite the extensive full content," says DERPART Managing Director Thomas Osswald. Travel agency employees can look forward to a tool with which they can not only book flights, but also manage numerous additional services related to the booking. These include flight options and fares, seat reservations, meals and baggage handling. "The advantages are obvious: no more annoying system changes, no more data loss and no more complicated integration of interfaces," continues Osswald.

The system is user-friendly and clearly organised, with all information available in one place, which enables fast and efficient work. In addition to Eurowings, which is connected via a direct interface, the system is currently being trialled with other content sources such as Amadeus and Farelogix. New content such as NDC (New Distribution Capability) with direct interfaces to airlines has also been integrated.

A particular highlight is the new, time-based flight availability display, which dynamically shows return flights that match the selected outbound flights - a function that is particularly essential for the business travel sector. Alternatively, a price-based selection is also available. Another plus point: the new system can be seamlessly integrated into existing, downstream automation processes.

In order to meet the high demands of the business travel and tourism industry and to ensure a connection to the latest technologies, DERPART travel agencies now have two systems for flight bookings at their disposal: One is the new full-content system DERPART Air+ and the other is the innovative solution from Amadeus. This enables DERPART offices to book the NDC content of many airlines, including Lufthansa Smart Offer. This solution has been intensively tested and piloted. In addition, the NDC content of many airlines is available via the OBE solutions offered, in particular Amadeus Cytric and Atlatos - provided the respective customers want this content.

Although the topic of NDC content is by no means new, it continues to pose challenges for the entire industry, says Osswald, adding: "In light of the increasing demand from our business travel customers, it is important for us to emphasise that we have more than done our homework and offer both our customers and our employees various options for accessing NDC content."
