Weller travel agency joins the DERPART network in November

Holiday Land Reisebüro Weller in Velbert, North Rhine-Westphalia, will become part of the DERPART sales organisation from 1 November 2025. With this step, owner Mario Weller is responding to the dynamic development of his company and the increasing demand for professional services in the business travel sector. At the same time, he is relying on the future-orientated focus and innovative strength of the new partner.

Since it was founded in 2015, Reisebüro Weller has continued to develop steadily. In recent years in particular, the agency has been able to grow significantly as several travel agencies in the area, such as the Karstadt travel agency, have had to close. The Weller office increasingly took over their customer base and became the leading contact point for travel bookings in the region. As a result, more and more companies from the nearby industrial estate approached the team for support with business trips. Mario Weller quickly realised that there were new business opportunities here - and that he would systematically build up the local business travel division. From the beginning of 2026, an additional employee will be specifically responsible for corporate services under the DER BUSINESS Travel brand in a newly planned branch office.

The move to DERPART is the result of a strategic decision that Mario Weller weighed up carefully. "I was particularly impressed by the dynamic management team at DERPART, which is characterised by its innovative spirit and strategic vision," explains Weller. He was also impressed by the company's digital orientation, the dialogue based on partnership and the expertise of the contacts. The persistence in the dialogue was ultimately the deciding factor in the change.

"DERPART has absolutely convinced us. We see great potential for further growth in this partnership - especially in the business travel segment," explains Weller. The 53-year-old entrepreneur originally worked as an office administrator before retraining as a travel agent. He started his own business in 2015. Today, he employs eight people and is positioning himself for the future by joining DERPART.

The new addition has also been received with great pleasure by the head office.
